post Control DC power via a Momentary Push-button

DC Momentary Switch - EDN

Momentary pushbutton controling DC voltage on a Load (or circuit).

This has been on my mind for the past few days: getting rid of the toggle, and bringing in the pushbutton to control the on/off function of a gadget. I found an article on EDN that accomplishes this with about 15 parts (a few resistors, transistors and a cap), uses 0A when off, and works with a 3V source. With a bit of tweaking, you can get it working with 9V. Also, a company called Pololu Robotics sells a kit that does the same thing.
